Education

In 2004 I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Studio Art and Religion. I also hold a certificate of leadership from The University of the Nations (YWAM) in New Zealand. After serving overseas with the organization, I went on to receive my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from what's now known as The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. In graduate school I had the privilege of learning from renown educators in the field of psychology, including Dr. Dan Allender. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, as well as a Child Mental Health Specialist.

Experience

From holding positions at psychiatric hospitals to serving communities overseas, I have been working with people in a therapeutic capacity for 20 years. My curiosity for other cultures has led me to every continent, and my passion for learning continually compels me to connect with people of diverse cultures here in The Puget Sound. I am an advocate for social justice and I am committed to the process of creating healthy communities.

Since graduating in 2011, my professional experience includes working at The Moore Center for Eating Disorders and at Therapeutic Health Services. My most recent position at THS was providing clinical supervision as part of the Integrated Cognitive Therapies Program team. I opened my private practice in 2015 in Seattle and have since moved my office to Mountlake Terrace. I believe that anyone can experience transformation and I welcome people from ALL walks of life. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey to wellness.

When I’m not providing therapy or supervision, I’m spending time with my two boys, husband, and pup.
